Texworks began not as a garment brand, but as a fabric house—creating materials that spoke for themselves. Soft, rich, and meticulously textured fabrics with distinctive weaves, patterns, and prints became our signature. What started as an idea in 2017 soon evolved into a reputation. Premium clothing manufacturers across India recognized our quality, and within a few years, Texworks fabrics travelled to diverse markets across the country.

Understanding the Gap

We closely observed a shift in the apparel industry. While consumers demanded premium quality, the market struggled to deliver value—especially in the mid-priced segment. People wanted “better choices without higher spending.”Simultaneously, the OTC (over-the-counter) fabric business was facing challenges: limited growth, restricted reach, and difficulty for tailors to connect with customers beyond their locality.

India’s youth needed fast fashion, but not at the cost of durability or class. They wanted ready-to-wear pieces that looked sharp, felt premium, and were accessible.
